Our event truly could not happen without our volunteers. You will receive the sincerest gratitude of many runners and hikers. Seriously!…they love you!

We will need people throughout the day on race day , from morning (5:00 a.m.) til evening (9:00 p.m.)…for any length of time you can devote…a couple hours to all day if you like. Volunteer hours associated with the race are tracked and submitted to the park management. They utilize these documented volunteer hours to demonstrate the interest and use of the Pennsylvania parks. Even volunteer hours associated with the race provide a meaningful benefit to the park.

Volunteer activities generally include assisting at one of the aid stations to help the runners get food & water or assisting at the start/finish area. For more specifics on volunteer tasks available and to sign up for this important position, please see “How to Help”.
